Undergraduate
Undergraduate (your first degree)
A Deakin undergraduate course is the foundation of your future career, usually completed in two to four years. Duration varies based on degree type, enrolment pattern and any credit received from recognition of prior learning.
Postgraduate
Postgraduate (further study)
A postgraduate qualification can be undertaken by students who have already completed an undergraduate degree or possess significant, demonstrable work experience. The Bachelor of Property and Real Estate and the Graduate Diploma of Property are accredited by the Australian Property Institute (API). Additionally, the bachelor degree is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), meaning you graduate with a qualification that meets the needs of an evolving industry.
Both courses* meet the academic requirements for membership as a Certified Practising Valuer through API.
