Short Term Programs

Short term experiences with a long term impact!

Undertaking a Short Term Partner Program at Deakin is a fantastic way to fast track your degree by studying in the June/July Trimester break or throughout T3. You can study Psychology in France, Law in the Czech Republic, and Architecture in Hong Kong. With over 40 programs on offer the opportunities are endless!

Short Term Partner Programs are courses offered by either Deakin's partner universities or approved hosts. Each program has been carefully selected by Deakin University staff to ensure they are of a high quality, while also being suitable to count towards your degree (dependent on faculty approval).

The programs run between two and six weeks in either the inter-trimester break (June/July) or during Trimester 3 (November-February).

Travel Grants

Below you will find the full list of T3 Travel Grant programs. Click the link for more information on the program. To apply for the Travel Grant you will need to provide a 500 word written statement of motivation. Travel Grant applications are reviewed and awarded after students are accepted onto the program. More Travel Grants may be announced at a later date.

Additionally the Deakin Business School are offering support funding of $1,500 to assist students improve their employability by gaining valued international experience on a range of Deakin Business School Short Term Partner Programs over T3 2016. Grants are awarded on a first in, first served basis to eligible* students who are accepted onto a Short Term Partner program – so get in quick!

*You must be enrolled in a Deakin Business School degree. You must be taking a Deakin Business School unit or credit. You must not have received a travel grant from another university division (however, this does not include OS-Help). If you have already applied for an applicable short term partner program you are eligible to be considered for funding. You must have completed a full application to be considered for the grant. One grant is available per student.

When you have found a unit that is of interest to you, please click on the program name to be taken to the application page were you can read more about the program (Dates, Cost, location etc.) and apply for an amazing experience abroad!

How to apply for a Short Term Partner Program

Research all the programs on offer on our Application portal, once you have found a program you wish to undertake simply click the apply button and log in with your student details. Make sure you complete the application questions and digitally sign the student agreement. After you have applied, the Short Term Partner Program coordinator will be in contact with you to guide you through the application step by step.
