You are also required to notify Deakin within seven days of a change to your mobile number, personal email address or emergency contact.

Your details can be updated on StudentConnect. Look under the ‘personal details’ section on the left-hand side and choose 'update your address'.

If your contact details in StudentConnect are incorrect, please update them immediately. Failure to do so will mean that you are in breach of your student visa.

Returning home during holidays

If you intend to return home during the holidays, it's important that you change your postal address to your overseas address. When you return to Australia, you will need to update your address again to reflect your Australian address. This is to make sure that any important correspondence sent by Deakin reaches you.
