Eligibility for a Trimester exchange

Trimester exchange is available to eligible Deakin students, including international, postgraduate and online students. To be eligible to apply for a Trimester exchange you must meet the following requirements:

1. Undergraduate students – you should have completed at least 8 Deakin credit points towards your Deakin degree prior to departure.
2. Postgraduate students – you should have completed at least 4 Deakin credit points towards your Deakin degree prior to departure.
3. A full time study load of 3-4 Deakin credit points while on exchange is compulsory to meet Deakin and host university requirements.
4. You should have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 – some discretion may be applied, contact the Deakin Abroad team at education-abroad@deakin.edu.au to discuss if applicable.
