Short-term partner programs
Short-term programs are available through Deakin’s partner universities and approved hosts. They offer you a short-term experience with a long-term impact.
There are two types of short-term partner programs:
- Exchange – where you pay tuition fees to Deakin as per normal but pay all associated program costs directly to your host institution.
- Study abroad – where you pay tuition fees and all associated program costs directly to your host institution.
Please refer to the specific program information in our application portal to find out whether your program is exchange or study abroad. Program application deadlines vary according to the host university. Some programs have limited places and may close early if all places are filled.
If you're unsure whether your course plan can accommodate a short-term exchange, we recommend you contact Student Central for guidance.
