Community Legal Internship – MLL351

What is Community Legal Internship?

Community Legal Internship (MLL351) is a faculty-sourced work integrated learning (WIL) unit worth 1 credit point, where you complete an internship with an external organisation for 100 hours (15 days).

Diverse opportunities are available including different areas of law and types of placements (full time and part time).

The program has a mandatory induction session prior to commencement.

Who can apply?

To apply for this program you must be enrolled in our Bachelor of Laws, and eligible to use a WIL unit towards your degree.

This unit is not repeatable.

It is your responsibility to ensure that taking a WIL unit contributes towards your course requirements, and will not prevent you from meeting your course rules. Please speak with a student adviser in Student Central if you are unsure.

Selection criteria is based on a number of considerations including your preferred area of law, year of study, previous participation in WIL units, WAM, and more.

The Community Legal Internship program is only available at participating centres. Please note that this list is subject to change and not all participating centres are available every trimester.
