Social impact projects are an immersive learning experience for students to support an organisation that is driven to positively impact social or environmental change.

In this program we challenge students (in multi-disciplinary teams of 4–7) to act as business advisory teams, collaborating in a professional environment to develop an integrated response to a client project.

Throughout the program, you will be supported by an academic supervisor and have opportunities to engage with the client organisation. You will be involved in client-focused teamwork that will help you develop intercultural communication, leadership and teamwork skills, which are the top essential graduate attributes.

FreelancingHUB offers group-based placements within a cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural team, developing solutions for not-for-profit or community organisations. Each project team is assigned an experienced industry mentor/project manager.​

FreelancingHUB offers students an opportunity to explore working-for-self as a professional freelancer within a co-working space whilst developing key employability skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. Placements are open to all students.​

Students usually work 1 full day per week, 9am–5pm for the 11 week trimester.

The Regional WIL Program provides students with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the unique needs of rural, regional, and remote communities. Through a two-week intensive program, students will live and contribute to a regional community, while working on a real business problem.
