Deakin has partnered with Ohio University to offer you an amazing opportunity to earn two bachelor degrees for only one additional year of study.
After completing the first 2 years of the Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin, students then spend two trimesters at Ohio University before returning to Deakin for their final year of studies. You’ll gain invaluable international experience, complete internship requirements, and establish an international network of professional contacts in the sport industry.

The undergraduate sport management program at Ohio University provides the academic preparation and practical training required for success in the sport industry.
Ohio University is proudly the first university in the world to teach a sport management academic program (1966). With over 55 years history, Ohio has a wealth of experienced academics and industry connections. In 2021, 85% of sport management graduates experienced positive outcomes such as employment or continuing education within six months.

Important information
Eligibility
- 60% minimum weighted average mark.
- Must be currently enrolled in Deakin’s Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) and have completed 12–16 credit points.
Fees and support
The tuition costs for the year of study at Ohio University will be absorbed by Deakin's Faculty of Business and Law. You do not have to pay any fees to Ohio University.
Please note: you will not be eligible for an OS-Help loan for this dual degree program.
