The Master of Commerce/Master of International Strategic Management is a powerful dual business qualification that delivers comprehensive and applied knowledge in core business concepts and practices. Its international perspective also gives you the opportunity to explore the impact of ethics, culture and globalisation on contemporary business issues.
How the Deakin/Lund dual degree works
After completing your first two trimesters of Deakin's Master of Commerce, you will spend six months at Lund University in Sweden (January–June). You will then return to Deakin for your final trimester. The units you complete at Deakin are recognised as part of Lund’s program, and those you complete there will count towards your Master of Commerce.

The tuition costs for the Spring Semester at Lund University are covered as part of your regular Deakin trimester fees. To view your current fees, use our fee estimator.
You do not have to pay any fees to Lund University and the total cost is the same as your Master of Commerce.
The Commonwealth Government offers OS-HELP loans of up to $7,348 to students who are about to undertake some of their study overseas on a credit bearing program. This loan is paid into your nominated bank account by Deakin to cover costs such as airfares, accommodation or program fees.
You can receive a maximum of two OS-HELP loans over your lifetime. The loans must, however, be applied for at least six months apart. Visit the Australian Government website for more information on conditions of the loan, and find out how to apply for an OS-HELP loan.
Below is a breakdown of how a monthly budget may look while studying at Lund, depending on your specific cost of rent and leisure activities:
Food: 320 AUD
Accommodation: 500–725 AUD
Course literature: 55–140 AUD
Miscellaneous expenses including clothing, mobile phone, leisure, etc: 210 AUD
You will also be responsible for the following costs.
