After hours medical help

Emergencies

If you have serious life-threatening symptoms or believe you need to attend a hospital emergency department, please call Triple Zero (000).

Medical assistance at home

For after-hours visits from 6pm on weekdays, 12pm on Saturdays and all day on Sundays and public holidays, please call National Home Doctor on 13 SICK (13 74 25).

Through National Home Doctor you can request a fully qualified doctor visit you at home. The service is available in the Geelong and Melbourne regions but we recommend you check using the suburb locator app on the National Home Doctor website.

After using the service, a medical report will be sent to either your medical centre on campus or your own doctor.

International students

International students who have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) with Bupa, Allianz, NIB or Medibank Private will not be charged a fee for the doctor home visit. View the National Home Doctor website for more information.

If you need to visit an after-hours clinic in person, we suggest you find a clinic near you through Google search.
