Walk 'n' Talk
Research tells us that taking a break outside in nature boosts your mental health, reduces stress, and improves your concentration and creativity.
But it can be tricky to find time to be active outside when you're busy studying.
So, come along to one of our Walk 'n' Talk sessions. The sessions include a 30- to 40-minute stroll through some of the scenic spots on campus so can get some fresh air and chat with your peers. You might discuss your studies, your weekend plans or the TV series you’re currently binge-watching – whatever you like!
Leading the way will be our trained Student Wellbeing Ambassadors. Ask them anything you like and they will be able to give you advice from a student perspective.
And if the weather is too wild? We’ll head to the nearest café and you will receive a FREE drink voucher so we can chat over a hot beverage!
The walks are leisurely, accessible and everyone is welcome. Register for some or all the walks at your campus – we’ll send you a reminder email for each walk before the day.
20 minutes outdoors is as good as a cup of coffee!
