Geelong Cats AFL Clinic
Learn more about Aussie Rules football with this amazing experience at GMHBA Stadium with the Geelong Cats!
In a unique opportunity that's limited to 50 international students, you'll visit the home of the Geelong Cats AFL and AFLW teams, meet some of the players, try some simple AFL skills and watch the professionals as they train. Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy some free lunch.
You’ll also score a double pass to bring a friend or family member to see the Geelong men's team take on the Western Bulldogs on Saturday 20 July at GMHBA Stadium! Only students who participate in the AFL Clinic will receive their double pass. You’ll need to show your Deakin ID at the end of the clinic to claim your ticket.

How to Get There
There are two travel options.
- Make your own way there: This can be via public transport, ride share or driving. There's plenty of parking at GMHBA Stadium – enter from the La Trobe Terrace entrance. For help planning your public transport journey, visit ptv.vic.gov.au.
- Bus from Burwood campus: A chartered bus will collect you from outside Building BC at 8:30am. You will be transported back to Burwood campus after the clinic, arriving at approximately 4–4:30pm.
