• Alfred Deakin Medals for doctoral theses

  Awarded each year to up to four Deakin doctoral research students who produce the most outstanding theses.

• Neil Archbold Memorial Travel Award and Medal

  Awarded each year to two research students who produce the best peer-reviewed journal articles for sciences, and for humanities and social science.

• HDR Conference care and support fund

  Provides up to $2000 to enable researchers and HDR students to attend conferences, workshops or symposia.

Indigenous prize

• Vice-Chancellor's Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Indigenous Communities through Education

  To recognise a First Nations student who has demonstrated excellence in and commitment to enhancing First Nations education through community engagement during their university studies.
