Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) and Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) Grand Final
Cheer on the next generation of research stars at Deakin’s 3MT/VYT 2024 Grand Final
The annual Deakin University Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) and Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) Grand Final event returns in August, as our brilliant research students compete to be the best at research communication.
The Grand Final is the culmination of the Researcher Development Academy’s four-month 3MT®/VYT Engaging Research Communication program. The program provides tailored support and training for our research students to learn how to effectively communicate the impact of their research project to a non-specialist audience.
3MT® gives PhD candidates three minutes and one PowerPoint slide to share their research and its impact.
VYT entrants create a 60 second video to explain the what, why and how of their thesis.
Faculty and Institute 3MT® heats and finals are taking place now across the University, and our VYT entrants are hard at work crafting their 60 second masterpieces.
Ready to celebrate?
