Join peer mentoring
Each faculty at Deakin runs dedicated peer mentoring programs for new students during the first weeks of every trimester.
Peer mentors are students, just like you, who are further along in their studies. They are equipped to guide you and help you adjust to university life. They are also from your faculty, so they’ll understand the ins and outs of your area of study. But they can help you with anything study-related, and they can share with you how they’ve achieved success.
The best time to get in touch with a peer mentor is in Week 1, so don’t wait! Join your faculty program now and get matched with a peer mentor from your faculty.
