Your Orientation Itinerary
Your Orientation Itinerary is a personalised schedule of Orientation events. You can build and download it using our online app. Simply select your campus, faculty, student type and course, and your itinerary will be generated.
It will include all the sessions relevant to you and that you should attend, so it is simple for you to plan your schedule and ensure you don’t miss anything important. The essential sessions include:
- your course information session, which will introduce your area of study, your course structure and the teaching teams you will be learning from. It’s also a good opportunity for you to double check you’re enrolled in the correct units.
- an introduction to DUSA, the Deakin University Student Association, and DUSA events.
- a session introducing your digital and physical learning environments.
- a session introducing the practical support services available to you, such as peer mentors.
In addition to these core sessions, there will also be many more informal opportunities for you to meet people, make connections and get involved with all that Deakin offers. Keep an eye out for the chance to join a club or society, try a new sport or chat to other students in your course as you're moving around your new campus.
And remember to check your Orientation Itinerary just before Orientation commences as events, times, locations and information may change.
