International Student Welcome

Find out where you can get help at Deakin, take a tour of your new campus, meet other new students and learn more about what you can expect from the International Connect Program.

About the session

International Student Welcome includes:

  • a one-hour, live information session about studying in Australia as an international student
  • opportunities to connect with other new international students and participate in engaging activities, including a chance to win prizes!
  • time to book a Student Central appointment if you need help getting started at Deakin
  • a light lunch.

Prepare for the session

Before you attend your International Student Welcome, please follow the three steps below.

  1. Explore:

    New International Student Guide
    DeakinSync to locate support services, see your course and study resources.
    UniStart for undergraduate students or Preparing to Succeed for postgraduate students. 
    Your rights and responsibilities at Deakin.

  2. Visit enrolment support or contact Student Central if you need help with your enrolment.

  3. Attend the session to ask questions of the International Student Support team.
