Decline your offer

If you’re not ready to start your journey with Deakin, you have a few different options.

If you have questions about your offer, or if you’re unsure if you will accept, we are here to help you make the right decision. We encourage you to phone us on 92443999 or book an appointment with one of our future student advisers who can talk you through your options.

If you want to take a break before you start studying, you can defer your offer, which means you keep your place at university for up to two years for domestic students, or one year for international students.

If you’ve received another offer from Deakin or another institution that you intend to accept, you should decline your offer.
