Deakin Postgraduate Outcomes 2018
Data from the Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS), the national census of newly qualified higher education graduates:
- 1254 (58%) of postgraduate coursework graduates told us what they were doing the year after graduation AND how they felt about Deakin and their course
- 94% overall employed
- 85% in full time work within 4-6 months (of those available for full time work)
- 5% were in full time study
- 26% of those employed were working multiple jobs
- 30% working full time are with a new (<12 months) employer
- 44% found their new job via internet ads
- They were working in 255 occupations across 188 industries in 16 countries (ABS ANZSIC and ANZSCO Codes)
What our postgraduates thought about their course:
- 84% overall satisfaction with course quality in 2018
- 1st in Victoria
