Assessment feedback and comments

To submit your assessment via PebblePad, use the 'I want to' button and select 'Share' and then select 'Share with ATLAS'. Select the appropriate unit from the list of 'workspaces' - if the unit contains multiple assessments, you may also be prompted to select which assessment you wish to submit your asset to. Check the box/es agreeing to the ‘Terms of usage’ and select 'Share asset'. You can use the icons next to the asset title in your asset store to check that your asset has been submitted for assessment. You can also use the 'What's happening' tile on your PebblePad homepage to check that the submission has been recorded.

Note: sometimes your unit chair may want you to submit a copy of your PebblePad work to an assignment folder in the unit site instead. If you’re not sure whether you should submit your work via the unit site or PebblePad, check with your unit chair.

When feedback or grades have been added to work submitted to ATLAS, the feedback icon next to that asset in your asset store will be bolded. You can click on that icon to access your feedback and grade. You can reply to feedback but you cannot delete it – it remains attached to your asset. However, feedback attached to an asset will not be shared when you share that asset – it is visible only to you and to your teaching team.

If you have shared your asset with someone and enabled them to leave comments, then they are able to leave comments on your asset. Your teaching team might also use ‘comments’ to provide formative feedback that is not directly linked to an assessment task. You will be notified if someone leaves a comment on your asset, and the ‘comment’ icon for that asset will appear in bold in your asset store. You can view and reply to comments by clicking on that icon. Unlike feedback, you can delete comments and share these when you share your asset.
