Disability support
If disability, health or mental health affects your studies and participation in university life, our Disability Resource Centre (DRC) can support you.
The DRC provides a range of support services for students with health or mental health conditions that impact their studies. We also support students who are primary carers. The DRC has supported thousands of international and domestic students.
The DRC aims to remove educational barriers by offering tailored support, including accessible forms of study materials, assistive technology, adjustments for placements or work integrated learning, flexibility with submission dates and exam adjustments. The support offered may be temporary, on-going or permanent.
You can make a confidential online appointment using the button below to discuss your eligibility for support and the types of accommodations that can be made for you.
Then, once you register with the DRC, a Disability Liaison Officer will advise and assist you to access the services you need and make the most of your studies at Deakin.
Please contact the DRC by email on drcentre@deakin.edu.au if you have any questions (all enquiries are confidential). You also can learn more by visiting the DRC website.
