Learn about studying honours with the School of Medicine in 2025, and hear more about our research projects.

Event details

The School of Medicine offers world-leading research projects focusing on the molecular basis of health and disease. Our research focuses on cancer, neuroscience, infection, immunity, musculoskeletal medicine, metabolic disease and rural & regional health.

If you are interested in expanding your knowledge in gene/protein discovery, functional genomics/proteomics, preclinical development or translational research, this session is for you.

A selection of project supervisors will also be available at the in-person event to further discuss the projects of interest.

Light refreshments will be also available at the conclusion of the event.

This is an in-person ticketed event located at Deakin University's Waurn Ponds campus. We strongly encourage you to attend in person as it will significantly enhance your experience.

However, we understand that there may be practical limitations for some. Therefore, if you are unable to attend in person, there is the option to join via the webinar scheduled for the same timeslot. The webinar will be recorded and made available online following the event.
