As part of the Smart Geelong Network Research and Innovation Expo, Deakin University is hosting a special forum titled: Translating Clinical Research into Practice.
"We are inviting people to come along to find out how a new medicine gets to be approved for use and available to be
prescribed," said Dr Olivia Dean, one of the organisers.
"Our experts will also talk about the drug development and clinical trials process and how participation by members of the public in clinical trials can contribute to medical research in Australia."
