About the First Nations Hub

About the First Nations Hub

Through the Deakin 2030: Ideas to Impact Strategic Plan and Indigenous Strategy 2023-2028 Deakin is committed to ensuring that Indigenous knowledges are embedded into courses and recognised and woven into the fabric of Australian life.

Through the Deakin Library Plan 2020-2025 Deakin Library is committed to advancing human-centred and inclusive knowledge systems and spaces, and demonstrating a fundamental commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, and to amplifying diverse voices and ways of knowing.

The First Nations Hub is intended for students, professional staff, academics and researchers to help find information about Indigenous knowledges and resources relevant to Indigenous-focused content in courses. It also provides links to other areas of Deakin related to Indigenous Education and Strategy.
