Course dates and costs

We welcome new students to DUELI throughout the year. Find out when your course will start and end, how much it will cost, when orientation is, and what holidays occur during your course.

How much are the course fees?

You will need to pay your orientation and tuition fees when you enrol and before you begin your course. You can choose to pay your fees through Deakin's payment portal or use one of our online international payment providers.

  • Enrolment and orientation fee – AUD$250.
  • 2024 Tuition fee – AUD$470 per week (this means, if you study a five-week course, your tuition fee will be AUD$2350).

When can I start my course?

We offer nine intakes throughout the year, giving you the flexibility to decide when to start your course. If you are studying at Deakin University English Language Institute as a pathway to Deakin University or Deakin College, you can choose an intake to complete your English language studies before your studies begin. Courses commence every five weeks and classes are small to encourage engagement with your tutor and classmates.
