Meet the Head of the School of Information Technology
Professor Trina Myers is Head of the School of Information Technology. Prior to her appointment to Deakin, Trina served as Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching at Queensland University of Technology and Head of School, Computer Science at James Cook University. Trina has been an Executive on the Australian Council of Deans of ICT since 2016, including President ACDICT 2020-2022. She has extensive experience in computing education and has been awarded two national awards in teaching excellence. She has dedicated her research career to knowledge management, IoT and human-computer-interaction (HCI).
