Meet the Head of the School of Engineering
Professor Ben Horan is the Head of the School of Engineering. Ben was awarded one of Australia's Most Innovative Engineers by Engineers Australia and is passionate about inspiring and educating the next generation of Engineers. He established, and is the director of, the Centre for Advanced Design in Engineering Training (CADET) and the cutting-edge Virtual Reality Lab at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus.
Our school has a strong tradition of innovative teaching methods, whether it be our project-oriented design-based learning approach or the option to study online. With 100,000 more engineers needed by 2030, the demand for graduates is only growing.
