Extensive professional experience placement hours are embedded within many of our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, allowing you to work in real healthcare settings from your very first trimester of undergraduate study. Our strong network of partners gives you access to a wide variety of clinical learning experiences.
Learn in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built clinical simulation centres at our Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waterfront and Warrnambool campuses. They contain purpose-built, flexible learning spaces and simulated clinical settings that provide a safe, supportive and realistic environment for you to develop core clinical nursing and midwifery skills.
Our school was established in 1987 and has grown to be one of the largest nursing schools in Australia. We are ranked #15 in the world for nursing* and our school’s research is recognised as well above world standard^ with a focus on improving health care quality and patient safety, through the Centre for Quality and Patient Safety.
