Our researchers

The Centre of AI and the Future of Business brings together a diverse range of experts to build rich multidisciplinary perspectives on the impacts of AI in the workforce and society.

Professor Hind Benbya is founding director of the Centre for AI and the Future of Business and the head of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Deakin Business School. She has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in diverse research, engagement and education roles and is a distinguished expert in IT-enabled transformation and innovation.

Dr Franz Strich is the deputy director of the Centre for AI and the Future of Business and a senior lecturer at the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Deakin Business School. His research explores the intersection of AI and the future of work, focusing on the significant impact AI has on professional identities.
