The Deakin Trading Room functions like an interbank FX trading floor, giving you practical learning and insights into the working of the foreign exchange market. The custom-made facility is made up of 15 banks, named after real institutions. Each bank can have a team of three students, taking on the essential roles of dealer, position keeper and risk manager.
Take the opportunity to learn trading curriculum in a high-tech teaching space where you can experience the fast-paced nature of the trading world with industry-standard tickers, ASX and Bloomberg real feeds on the trading wall. You'll get to understand dealing practices and conventions in the foreign exchange market, with a focus on decision-making and implementation of trading and risk management strategies.
