Study commitment | Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit. This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site. |
Scheduled learning activities - campus | Trimester 2: 1 x 2 hour lecture per week, 1 x 1 hour seminar per week. |
Scheduled learning activities - online | Trimester 3: Online independent and collaborative learning including 3 x 1 hour online seminars per trimester. Students also have the option to attend half day seminars (8 hours in total) at the Waterfront (Geelong). |
Content
In SRQ460 students will develop an understanding of Quantity Surveying practice in the construction industry. Students will learn relevant skills to enable them to provide advice on building design and management based on economic factors at various stages during a project’s lifecycle. Consideration of building performance is also considered.
