Content
SRE272 introduces students to the principles and practices of building measurement in simple low-rise residential construction through the use of the Australian Standard Method of Measurement. Learning and assessment activities will focus on construction documentation as a critical form of information transmission, the roles and uses of bills of quantities, measurement and billing of quantities for a wide range of construction trades. Students will be required to learn and apply appropriate computer software packages in this unit.
Hurdle requirement
To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit students must achieve at least 40% in the Individual practical measurement task.
