Content
This unit delivers to the student the modern and emerging trends of advanced manufacturing. Built upon well-established engineering theories and principles which are generally complex and academically challenging, this unit will investigate areas such as Advanced Product Manufacture, Process Modelling, Industry 4.0 and the Circular Economy. The content covers application issues; theoretical underpinning; environmental, sustainability and economic factors and is delivered, where appropriate, through case studies and research experiences.
