Content
In this unit students explore the process of developing a product that is fit-for-purpose. You will develop research, design and engineering skills through a practical industry-related example where consultation with key industry players and governance is essential for the successful development of a relevant and advanced product outcome. To assist in the design process, you will develop and apply modelling and simulation skills related to mechanical engineering. The mix of design, theoretical, numerical and experimental work will provide a good base for future career development in the advanced CAE area.
Hurdle requirement
To be eligible for a pass in this unit, students are required to attend and participate in project-based activities for the scheduled sessions during the trimester intensive activities as detailed in the unit site.
