In particular, this unit will focus on ‘real-world’ experiences of leadership under pressure and in times of crisis. Topics addressed include handling of the communication of crises both internally and externally, understanding the importance of interpersonal communication and storytelling, and negotiation and mediation skills. Students learn by dealing with problem situations and by reflecting on their performance. Concepts and techniques are provided through multi-media resources, case studies and interactive practice.
