Content
This unit introduces students to the concept of a contract, sources of and theories underpinning Australian contract law, the elements required to form a contract, and rights that contracts confer and obligations they impose, which includes examination of privity of contract, assignment, express and implied terms, construction and classification of terms, and exclusion clauses. The unit covers legislation and case law that govern Victorian contract law.
