Study commitment

Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

Scheduled learning activities - online

Online independent and asynchronous collaborative learning up to a maximum of 1.5 hours each week which includes weekly recorded lectures and 1 x 1.5 hour online seminar (recordings provided) each week for 9 weeks, and 1 x 2 hour online seminar (recordings provided) each week for 2 weeks. 

Content

This unit aims to give an advanced and integrated understanding of Australian health law. Over the course of a trimester, students will gain a wealth of knowledge and critical perspectives on current and emerging legal issues relating to health care and policy ramifications.
