Content
This unit is designed to give students an understanding of those principles of law which specifically affect sport and its administration. In particular, the unit will focus on the following areas: the legal structures which may be adopted by sporting clubs, tribunals in sport, criminal and civil liability in sport; gambling and corruption in sport; doping in sport; employment law in sport; intellectual property in sport; misconduct; and finally, discrimination in sport.
