Study commitment | Students will spend on average 150 hours over the trimester undertaking synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning activities for this unit. This will include 6 hours synchronous learning activities and 20 hours of mentored experience. Students will spend 12 hours undertaking guided asynchronous learning activities. This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site. |

Content
This is the third of three units in the Bachelor of Nursing (Clinical Leadership) course that focus on developing students’ knowledge of and capability for leadership. In this unit students will have the opportunity to explore leadership in nursing education to enhance quality and safety in health care.
Through a mentored experience, students will have the opportunity to observe the role of the educational leader and participate in the education of nursing students.
