Content
This unit focuses on planning and designing effective assessment and feedback in higher education programs that are responsive to many contemporary challenges impacting providers in Australia and internationally. It utilises a practice-oriented approach to explore professional values, core knowledge and areas of activity that inform effective assessment design and the provision of feedback in higher education. The unit applies theories of curriculum and assessment design and higher education pedagogy to develop a deeper understanding of how learners learn, assessment and feedback in higher education, with a particular focus on the design of inclusive assessment practices, assessment for active learning, involves collaboration to enhance practice, meets QA requirements, and the development of an evidence-informed reflective approach to improving practice and ongoing professional learning.

All assessment tasks must be completed and passed to obtain an Ungraded Pass in this unit.
