Content
This unit examines current theories and approaches informing the collection, use and analysis of data in educational contexts. It focuses on the use of evaluation methods and strategies that have been designed to support measurement of impact and improvement in educational changes. Case studies of leadership strategies using evidence and evaluation for improvement are considered, including analysis of strengths, limitations, and unintended consequences. The unit addresses ethical considerations for conducting evaluation and evidence-informed improvement strategies and examines implications for sustainability, well-being and ethical leadership.
