Content

This unit introduces students to the foundations of writing through a combination of conceptual and practical approaches to genre, form, technique, research, audiences and the publishing industry. Students will develop their writing skills through hands-on practice in the development and production of an individual writing project, which will go through the stages of planning, research, workshopping, and revision that are typical for published works. Thus, this unit will provide students with the skills they need to operate professionally and introduce them to key skills in creative project development and management.
