Content

In this unit, students will delve into the potential, limitations, and opportunities of advanced technologies for creative practice, including both high and low resolution. They will explore the creative and critical aspects of constructing and manipulating photographic images through various conceptual frameworks. The course will introduce students to current technologies in photography and image construction, including colour calibration and correction, profile management, and fine art ink jet printing. Additionally, the ethical, social, and political implications of contemporary digital imaging will be examined in the context of producing creative works.
