Students will on average spend 150-hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.

Content

This unit aims to equip students with business skills to confidently produce a screen project. It will assist students to prepare for work in the screen industries by focussing on fundamental business skills needed to launch a project: bibles and packages, funding applications, preparing schedules, contracts, budgeting, and pitching. Students will be exposed to areas of marketing and promotion, distribution and thinking about audiences. They will also critically analyse the relationships between producers and other industry stakeholders.
