Mechanical engineers are employed in a wide range of industries including the automotive industry, aerospace and transport industries, power generation, refineries, insurance industries, building services, railway systems design, consumer goods design and production and management consultancies. This specialisation brings together studies in leading computer-aided engineering technologies, and advanced materials and manufacturing leverages Deakin’s world-class research teams in a practical and applied approach to address structural mechanics problems.
