The Digital Cultures major investigates the ways that humanities and social science enable students to critically examine the impact of digital technologies on contemporary society and ways these technologies mediate information, communication, identities, ethics, and power. This examination includes the ways that digital technologies such as the internet, social media and Artificial Intelligence impact society, culture, business, and government. The focus of this new major is to equip students with the knowledge and skills that enables their capacity to understand, evaluate and critique the evolving impact of digital technologies on social life.
