Advance HE Fellowships

Providing our academic and professional staff with formal recognition of their teaching practice or learning support, impact and leadership.

An accredited pathway to recognition

Deakin has run an internationally accredited HEA Fellowship program since 2020, giving staff the opportunity to join a community of over 156,000 HEA fellows across the world. Integrated with the Deakin Teaching Capability Framework, the program provides teaching teams across the University with opportunities to apply for various categories of fellowship as they move through their teaching or learning support journey. More than 200 Deakin staff members have been awarded as HEA Fellows.
