Biography
Richard Carr has a strong background in finance, specialising in a variety of business areas including tax, business valuations and litigation assistance. Since 1986 he has been a Director of West Carr & Harvey, one of Geelong's largest accountancy practices. Throughout his career Richard has fostered long-standing relationships with businesses and organisations in a variety of sectors including Geelong's leading law firms, medical professionals and professional service firms.
Richard's ongoing commitment to the Geelong region has provided substantial support to many community sectors through his work in the not-for-profit sector. He is an active board member across multiple organisations with a strong focus on health, education and children's welfare.
Richard is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the People and Culture Committee.
