Biography
Paul Majumdar is in his third year of a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University’s Melbourne Burwood Campus as of 2025.
Since commencing at Deakin in 2022, Paul has been actively involved in student life and the organisation of student activities, including representative positions with the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA). In 2023, Paul served as an International Student Ambassador. He has also been the Event Manager and President of the Deakin Social Club.
In 2024, Paul was DUSA’s Burwood Campus Coordinator and a DeakinTALENT Career Ambassador. He was also the President of the Young Bengal Student Association of Victoria during the same year.
Paul was elected by students to the University Council in September 2024 and began his term on 1 January 2025. Additionally, he has been elected to the National Executive of the National Union of Students for 2025.
