Join your faculty program
Be supported in your first 5 weeks, online and on-campus, by an experienced student in your faculty. Meet with your mentor weekly, and other new students in your faculty and make a great start to your studies. You will understand Deakin’s learning environment, form friendships and study connections, and discover a range of ongoing assistance available to you.

Provides social connection and guidance to new students, plus one-off quick meetings offering advice and referral to services for all Faculty students.

Get support and meet other students through on-campus and online group mentoring. Study workshops, drop-in spaces and social events are available to all faculty students.

On-campus and online mentoring offers new students help with navigating uni and settling in. Drop-in sessions focused on timely topics are available to all Health students.

Mentoring for new on-campus and online students, plus opportunities to network. An online ‘ask a mentor' service is available to all Faculty students.
Academic mentors
Get free support from specialised peer mentors who can help you find answers for your queries, understand your subjects and improve your academic skills.

Learn how to better understand maths concepts and build your maths confidence. Drop in to a session or ask a question online.
